I’m both. Early-stage startups don’t need someone who only codes or only leads; they need someone who can do both seamlessly. I can dive deep and build, but I also step back, set direction, and lead teams or partners toward outcomes. My value is in bridging execution and strategy — making sure what we build actually moves the business forward.


I completely understand that concern — and it’s a good one. What I do sits somewhere between a contractor and a full-time employee (or CTO). When I work with a startup, I’m fully committed — I integrate into the team, take ownership, and drive outcomes as if I were part of the company. The difference is that I stay independent by design.


That independence lets me stay fast, pragmatic, and outcome-focused — without being pulled into long-term bureaucracy or internal politics. It means I can give your startup the focus and leadership it needs right now — to get from idea to product, or from product to scale — and then help you transition smoothly once the foundation is solid.

My approach to ramping up is structured but fast. I start by understanding the why — your product vision, business model, and the outcomes you’re trying to achieve. In parallel, I dive into the tech: architecture, team setup, and current bottlenecks. Within a few days, I can usually see where the biggest leverage points are — what’s slowing you down and what needs focus first.


I don’t spread myself thin across multiple projects — that’s not how I work. When I partner with a startup, I commit fully and treat it like my own company. I typically work with one client at a time, sometimes two if timelines and scope allow for clear separation, but always with full focus on outcomes.


Yes — wherever you are on the planet, I make sure there’s strong overlap. I aim for at least 70% of your core working hours so we can collaborate in real time, move fast, and stay aligned. Time zones shouldn’t slow us down — I adapt to your rhythm, not the other way around.
